Headlight Studio is looking for a talented 3D Animator to create realistic weapon animations for both first-person (FPS) and third-person (TPS) perspectives across our projects Rooted and Backrooms: Extractions.
Responsibilities:
- Create and refine animations for shooting, reloading, aiming, handling, and weapon inspection.
- Develop consistent animation cycles between FPS and TPS views.
- Ensure smooth transitions and blending across animation states.
- Integrate and test animations directly in Unreal Engine 5.6 using Control Rig and Animation Blueprints.
- Collaborate with gameplay programmers for synchronization and feedback consistency.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in realistic 3D animation (FPS/TPS, weapons, characters).
- Proficiency with Maya, Blender, or similar software.
- Good knowledge of Unreal Engine 5.6 integration (Control Rig, Animation Blueprint, Sequencer).
- Understanding of animation principles: anticipation, recoil, weight, timing.
- Ability to work independently while meeting technical and artistic constraints.

Conditions:
